My long run was pretty decent. I definitely kept a progressive pace, but I just didn’t go the full minutes. Whether I should’ve or not prolly could’ve gone either way. Either way, pretty good run. Afternoon was chill, and we had a good meeting with some inspirational thoughts from Roberts.

I decided to chill a bit today on Squats and it felt good. The rest of the lifts were as usual. Afternoon run was dope; Carson, Alex, Tanner, Coach and I did the foremaster run. We kept a nice pace. We discussed the suckiness of President Trump.

Usual morning run this morning, but a slim crew. We followed with some plyos. As for the workout in the afternoon, I’d say it was my best workout of the season. I stuck it with the boys every rep. It was freakin tough, but when it got hard, I pictured that course up in Sugarhouse Park; that helped a lot. It reminds me a lot of the quote I chose on Monday: “Faith in the endgame helps you live through the months or years of buildup.” This will be a workout I can look back on during my struggles.

Nice little run into Green Springs. I’ve noticed none of our runs lately have been slow; they’ve all been a real nice pace and that’s pretty good. My calves have felt tight all this week, but it hasn’t affected my running at all. So that’s good.

Eh would be the best way to describe this race for me. Maybe I got out too quick, but I doubt it. It probably just came down to me doing it or not doing it. I’ll look at it a little more to see what I can learn.

Finally got some good sleep. Did my run in between sessions and I was feeling really good. It was a pretty flat run, so I just kept the pace under 6:50. On the run, I found a pretty nice bow release, so that was a score. Give me a comment if you know what a bow release is.
