Well I reached one of my personal goals by breaking 11 at the time trial. I really ran my race by not getting antsy and finishing tough. Came in 5th right behind Logan. I'm very pleased, but not content. We made it up to high altitude camp this afternoon and had a little afternoon run. Felt good.

Woke up to find out we had a butt-ton of planks. Started the day with 6 minutes and spaced them throughout the rest of the day. Just a super chill trail run in the morning. In the afternoon, we had a super tough workout at Navajo lake. I pushed hard with the lead guys for the first and last rep, and I took a slower pace on the middle three. We all really felt the altitude, but it was good to push through with the boys.

Honestly, I felt like a real wuss this morning. It's not because of how I ran or felt when I was running, but it was when the other guys came back 10 minutes after me and told me how far they had gone. I was absolutely blown away. Mad respect for how they pushed on that trail. Afternoon was just another chill 25.

I'm not sure of the exact time or distance due to my watch battery being low. But nevertheless, this run was a killer. Non-stop hill on the second half. However, I had a lot of personal successes along the way. I would make goals as I went up the hills (which is definitely my roughest area of running) and I accomplished them all. I've got a long way to go, but I'm going.

Did Chuckwalla with Dylan, Josh, and Scottie. Dylan and I kept a good pace for the whole way. On the way back, we passed some hikers and they asked us if we ran for a team. I felt an overwhelming amount of pride in telling them that we were Pine View Panthers. So pumped to get to work!

I went to the temple this morning, so I didn't do Temple Quarry with the boys. I decided to run Mustang Pass in the afternoon. The whole run, I was feeling great and pushing a good trail pace. Unfortunately, I was running down a wash and caught the wrong edge of a rock; I sprained my ankle and immediately knew I was gonna have to walk back to my truck. It's very painful at the moment, so I'll have to ice it and see how it feels by Monday.
