Pretty good long run this morning. I was confused about what the workout was, but I pushed through anyway. Took kind of the same route as the long fun a few weeks ago, but instead turning right onto Washington Fields Rd, rather than left. Learned that this was our penultimate long run of the season. Gonna miss the seniors.

Coach put this week's workout in the morning, so we met up an did 15 min warm with the last 5 min at easy tempo. We then moved into the workout of 2x 200m, 400m, 800m, 400m, 200m. 200's were at 800m pace, 400's were at 1600m pace, and 800's were at 3200m pace with 2 min recovery between the 200/400 and 400/800, 4 min recovery between 800/400, and 5 min recovery between sets. This workout was actually harder than I anticipated it to be. While, my 200's and 400's were quite good, both of the 800's were sluggish and slow especially on the second lap. I was glad to get through it. I suppose this was just one of those workouts that you gotta get through; I bet everyone has those days. Overall, pretty up and down day for running.
