Suicidal Tendencies trail in Santa Clara with the team this morning. Also a late celebration for coach Roberts' b-bay. First time doing this trail and was honestly challenged a bit by it, but I pushed through the hills and made it through the long run. Overall, felt good. Pumped and hoping for a workout tomorrow.

PM 7.15 over 55:00; 7:42 pace; track workout

6x 60 sec w/equal recovery, first 3 at tempo, next 3 at threshold; 1 lap recovery; 2 sets of 5x 30 sec w/equal recovery at CV; 6x 60 sec w/equal recovery, first 3 at threshold, next 3 at tempo. 

Tempo pace and distance-6:24; 251 m. 

Threshold pace and distance-6:05; 264 m. at 60 sec. 

CV(critical velocity) pace and distance-5:50; 157 m.

Good workout with the bros. We all ran through a pretty chill workout together and worked on something specific with our form on each set. I also talked about my goals during school with coach Holt and it got me psyched to push myself in my first track season. Can't wait!

Nice, chill recovery run from two hard days. Took it down Telegraph St. and up through dogtown. I was a little sore from the weight yesterday morning, but not enough to bother me or get me worried about hindering a tempo tomorrow.

AM over 15:00; 7:45 pace- pre-weights run with Xander and Dallen

PM over 60:00; 7:20ish pace (had to split up the runs on my watch)

Sick 25 min tempo workout on the track with the beasts, Dylan and Grant, where we had some great splits: 6:49, 6:36, 6:35, and what would have been 6:25 had we had 90 or so more seconds to finish the last lap. Overall great workout that didn't leave me very wiped out. Perhaps Coach Holt will let me stick it out with the lead group next tempo.

One of the funner, but also more miserable runs I've been on with the team; it was raining and cold. Julien thought it would be fun to jump in a puddle with me right behind him. He completely drenched my croch area. He got coach too and he repayed Julien by putting him in the gutter. Overall fun run that took some mental toughness.

Happy B-day Logan. I did this run on my lonesome and I'm surprised I stuck it out as well as I did. This was definitely one of the fastest non-workout runs I've done. I felt good and thought I'd see what I could do. 

This was a strong week for me, but I'm still anxious to see my weekly total be in the upper 50's/ lower 60's.
