Pretty nice run this morning. Went down River road and got on the river trail. I told the clown statue story. Afternoon was 25 grass on the softball field. The grass was really spongy and felt nice on my feet, but I could just tell we were destroying the grass. Oh well.

Usual morning run. We talked about our dreams. Mine was good, but could have been better. Afternoon we did the parks and rec route with coach. We hopped the fence and saw our bros on the dirt mile. We then went under the freeway and made our way back. Got a 5 on my derivative retake in Calc, so that was dope.

Team pics today. They were alright. There’s only like a few that I hope turn out good. I’ve never had a run where I was in less of a running mood. It was good anyway. Not much else.

Pretty chilly this morning, but it was a chill “workout” if you can even call it that. Afternoon we had a good meeting with Coach followed by a short easy run around 2450 Park. We started on the softball field, but some guy kicked us off because it was new grass. He was honestly pretty mean about it.

Morning wasn’t as chilly as yesterday, so I enjoyed it much more. Afternoon was our traditional pre-state run: up-the-hill and dodgeball with coach. Pretty great day with my team. They’re gonna kill it tomorrow!

Just a chill, chilly run around the south town mall. Great day to be a panther: girls took state and boys took second. I’m really proud of my team and I know they earned everything they received. I know we’ll only do better at NXR.

I went into the run feeling like it would be tougher than it should just because it was a bit longer the past few runs we’ve done, but I actually endured it quite well. It was pretty stankin hot for mid October, but it’s whatever. We made our way down the river trail and looped back up River Road. 

I answered Stef to Sadie’s tonight and it was definitely the best way that has ever been done.

Got out to Colorado today and scouted most of the day, so I didn’t get a run in today. I prolly won’t be able to tomorrow either. I’m pretty stoked for tomorrow. There’s some good country and I’m ready to work hard for a monster buck. Wish me luck

Really, really sucky day. Worst overall day of my entire hunting career. Saw two deer all day and they were both does. This unit straight up sucks. If you ever put in for Colorado deer, I do not recommend unit 30. My dad and I decided to head home tomorrow, so I’m going home empty-handed (except for the two sheds I picked up.)

The morning run wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t that great either. I was having some discomfort in my stomach and a bit in my chest as well. I made the most of it though and pushed through some exhaustion. Afternoon grass was nice on the softball field. They’ve done some good things with that grass. Good day of running today. Keep Carson in your prayers because he wrecked his back, butt and ankle. At least it wasn’t a toothache.

Weights for the first time in a bit felt rather nice, especially the bench, which is always my toughest lift. Afternoon was blazing hot, but still a nice run with some sand. It was also pretty hilly, and it felt great to go strong up some longer hills. Clutch day of running and I’m looking forward to a strong workout tomorrow.

Pretty physically stressful day. Morning run with plyos then a really tough workout on grass in the afternoon. 7x 3 min at M shape rotation of 3, 5, and 8k pace, all w/ equal recovery. First three were pretty dang good, but I really, really had to struggle in the second half, especially the last two reps. Thought about quitting numerous times, but didn’t; I’m really glad I stuck in there. It’ll let my body know it needs to get down to business, and the postseason isn’t a time to relax. Good day to run

Weights was a bit tough this morning because my pecs and quads are pretty sore. Afternoon was a nice reverse shoe run. I found a bag of lifesaver gummies and, honestly, I thought they were fine. But coach disagreed, so he took them and chucked them and Dylan kicked them down a sewer. I was just a little ticked off. Oh well. We’ve got a long run tomorrow, so I’ll need to be prepared for that.

As for the running part, pretty good long run. We did a classic parkway loop. But I had to stop to use the bathroom at about 54, and it just kind of messed with my abdomen. I probably definitely could’ve gone another 10 to go the max, but I think I fulfilled the purpose of the run. Afternoon was longer than the usual Monday afternoon, but we still got some barefoot, grass time in. I’m really glad that my legs (quads specially) aren’t feeling sore anymore. Hopefully I’ll be able to do a bit more leg work for weights tomorrow.

Today is my least favorite day of the year, but I’m the Halloween run champ, so that makes up for it. I took it quick from the very beginning and no one was ever really close to me. Great redemption from last year. I’m actually pretty happy about this.
