Woke up to find out we had a butt-ton of planks. Started the day with 6 minutes and spaced them throughout the rest of the day. Just a super chill trail run in the morning. In the afternoon, we had a super tough workout at Navajo lake. I pushed hard with the lead guys for the first and last rep, and I took a slower pace on the middle three. We all really felt the altitude, but it was good to push through with the boys.

Honestly, I felt like a real wuss this morning. It's not because of how I ran or felt when I was running, but it was when the other guys came back 10 minutes after me and told me how far they had gone. I was absolutely blown away. Mad respect for how they pushed on that trail. Afternoon was just another chill 25.

I'm not sure of the exact time or distance due to my watch battery being low. But nevertheless, this run was a killer. Non-stop hill on the second half. However, I had a lot of personal successes along the way. I would make goals as I went up the hills (which is definitely my roughest area of running) and I accomplished them all. I've got a long way to go, but I'm going.

Did Chuckwalla with Dylan, Josh, and Scottie. Dylan and I kept a good pace for the whole way. On the way back, we passed some hikers and they asked us if we ran for a team. I felt an overwhelming amount of pride in telling them that we were Pine View Panthers. So pumped to get to work!

I went to the temple this morning, so I didn't do Temple Quarry with the boys. I decided to run Mustang Pass in the afternoon. The whole run, I was feeling great and pushing a good trail pace. Unfortunately, I was running down a wash and caught the wrong edge of a rock; I sprained my ankle and immediately knew I was gonna have to walk back to my truck. It's very painful at the moment, so I'll have to ice it and see how it feels by Monday.

Pretty decent workout with the boys. It was definitely hard, especially the second rep, but I pushed myself and made it through. Definitely one of my better long runs. In the afternoon, I just did a quick paced run around dogtown. It was a good day of running.

My watch was wack today and my runs are incorrect. It was a good day, nevertheless. Last day of kids club and my boys raced really well. I raced the last lap with Bryan; he's quite the beast. Had a nice reverse DI loop after a dope lifting session.

First official race of the season. It honestly didn't go super well for me. As a team, we did pretty good (even though there were a few of us that had bad races.) We came out with the W. As for me, I think my problem was that I never got very comfortable with the pain of the race. It wasn't unbearable, but I never accepted it and excelled through it. Next race, I've got to be more aggressive.

Did a nice Green Springs loop. Carson was feeling pretty sick, so it was weird to have a lot of the run without him. We had a pretty dang good negative split if you ask me. Afternoon was just 20 post-weights. Pretty nice day of running.

First ever triple! Such a sick day of running with the bros. Delano peak was freaking epic; it was the most beautiful place I've ever been. I honestly felt really good throughout the whole run. Not that we took it super hard, but it still felt great. The reason why we had a third run was coach decided to let us do our run for tomorrow during the middle of the night so we could sleep in. It was a super dope run and we had some really great conversations.

We had a team meeting, discussing first our goals as a team, then our individual fears. It went really well, and I learned a lot about my teammates. It really opened my eyes about how much commitment it was gonna take from each of us. I'm ready. Boys, are you?

I was almost late to morning practice, but I made it. It was a decent long run overall. I felt really good for the first 50, and I had to push quite a bit until 65 or so. I fell off the lead group at that time and chilled it a little back to the high school. There were little successes when I would push through a doubt. But I've got more long runs to learn and improve from. Afternoon was good. It felt really slow, but the pace said somewhat otherwise. Great day to be a Panther.

Felt nice on both runs today, but neither were hard at all. Morning was a quick 15 after weights with a sub 7 second mile. Afternoon was a reverse shoe run up into Dogtown. Nothing too special today.

This morning we had our last first 25 minute morning run. It was good. The workout in the afternoon was pretty tough. I can't really say it was a good workout for me, but there were quality moments. My third rep, (4 mins.) I stuck it out much better than the first two, and that energy carried into the last one a bit. It was really hot and it seemed to affect our pace. It's all good though.
